I love pumpkins and I love marquees....so why not put them together I say! These pumpkins light up and are the perfect way to say welcome to any guests. Customize them with your family name, your kids names, or, well, anything really.

Here are the lights your looking for. I found these at Michael's Arts and Crafts.
STEPS:
Outline your letters on your pumpkins. I found the easiest way is to print the letters on a piece of paper, cut them out, and trace them onto the pumpkin. If your feeling wild and crazy though, freehand is always an option.
Paint the letter your base color. Then go back and outline a second letter about a quarter of an inch inside your base letter. This you can totally free hand.
Paint your interior letter your accent color.
With a pencil, mark where you want your lights to go. Once you’re happy with the spacing use a small drillbit to start the hole, then go back with a 1/4“ inch drill bit and make the holes bigger. Starting with the smaller bit helps with more accurate placement as the larger bit tends to slide around on the pumpkin surface.
Use the utility knife to cut an opening in the top of the pumpkin.
Place the bunch of lights inside the pumpkin. Carefully bend the wire around each bulb and slip the bulb through the pre-drilled holes.
Once through the hole place the bubble cover and stop or back over the bulb.
Slide the bulb into the pumpkin hole.
Add your batteries and give the Vegas Strip a run for its money!
