Great for the spot in the house that needs a little color or for a dramatic present topper, these paper poinsettias are easy to make and a perfect project for the kids to get involved with.
Cardboard or foam core scrapes
Beads or glitter
Print out the template below.
Trace onto card stock and cut out.
Cut a small square of cardboard or foam core and glue to the center of each cutout except the smallest.
For the two largest cutouts, make a soft fold down the center of each bract (That’s what these petal-like parts of poinsettias are called, they’re actually modified leaves.)
Glue the cutouts on top of each other, largest to smallest.
Add beads, glitter or some hole punch cutouts to the center of the smallest one to finish it off!
