Snow Village Wreath

I love a good snow village….if you put it in a wreath….I’m going to love it even more!  This is a really easy little project that can add a little holiday magic to any room of the house.

MATERIALS

– Wreath

– Poster board

– Spray snow

– Small ball ornaments

– Miniatures (Small houses, figurines, trees, etc)

– Glue

– Utility knife

STEPS

Lay your miniatures out how you’d like them to sit in the wreath onto a piece of poster board.  I found that your main piece in the middle and slightly off center with a large and small tree nestled behind worked well.  Using glue, fix them in place.

Using a utility knife cut out around the grouping.  This let’s you place them into the wreath without the separate pieces falling all over the place.  If some of the miniature houses you are using are open on the bottom, you can attach a battery powered tea light to the poster board and set the house on top of that – it creates a nice glowing hearth effect for the house.

Now nestle the setting into the middle of the wreath. To finish it off, use a can of spray snow to frost the entire scene, make sure you get the greenery of the wreath as well.  For a little color, place a couple of colorful mini-globe ornaments into the scene.  Viola!
